| Introduction | I am excited to have your child in my classroom. I have been teaching for 30 years. I am a member of the LEGO Advisory Education Panel and a member of the GLOBAL LEGO Advisory Education Panel. I have attended Energy Camp for Teachers sponsored by the State of Tennessee for the last two years and incorporate energy and environmental education into my classroom teaching. I love teaching children and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they learn. I have two daughters(Kaitlyn and Kacie) that are 22. I'm sure you will hear about them this year. :-) Teaching is a joy that I LOVE and I work extremely hard to find activities that will engage your child in loving to learn!! An important part of education is to always love to learn. I still love learning new things everyday and I will try to instill this in your child. Help them see you love to learn new things everyday too. |
| Interests | I have two beautiful daughters that I am very proud of that are busy in college and in other states. I enjoy spending time with my daughers. We especially enjoy shopping and finding neat unique places to eat and shop. I love to take pictures of nature. I love working in my flowers and taking long walks. I enjoy reading and traveling. |
