Introduction	Ok, short version: Born in New Jersey, raised in Minnesota, I'm a 1990 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Since then, I've been a sportswriter most recently covered the University of Alabama. Previous beats include the Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League, and in baseball the Arizona Diamondbacks. So I'm basically a cultural American mutt. I've also done 20 books and contributed to another. I'm working on a novel, but it's still under wraps. Needless to say, I don't think I've ever been called boring. ...
Interests	Obviously sports (believe it or not, I'm a hockey freak and my favorite team on the planet is the University of New Hampshire Wildcats). I also enjoy music, good movies, traveling and I make a mean jambalaya.
Favorite movies	Big fan of the Lord of the Rings and James Bond franchises. My collection is pretty extensive, but obviously I haven't been able to watch them as I would like.
Favorite music	Everything from classical to funk. Favorites include U2, Quincy Jones, Blues Traveler, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy B, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews and Grover Washington.
Favorite books	Mine. Just kidding. Douglas Adams is a a huge inspiration. I read a lot of sci-fi humor books like Spider Robinson and Robert Aspirin, but lately I've been on a steady of Southern-based novel.
