| Introduction | I took up running, for the first time in my life, in May 2007. I did it as a personal challenge, and as a way to deal with all the twists, turns and curveballs that my life has contained in the past year. My personal goals keep changing, but one thing remains the same: I want to inspire more people to take up running, or at least exercising, in general. I want to be a great role model for my two children, and live a long and happy life as a physically and emotionally fit woman. |

In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?
Because the school budget never allowed for a pool, and chlorine makes my contacts all blurry, anyway!
