| Introduction | Steve Pomerance is a former Boulder City Council member. He served on the council from 1986 through 1993 and 1995 through 1997. Steve moved to Boulder in 1966 to study mathematics as a graduate student at C.U. He built his solar heated home here in 1975, and worked to create of Boulder’s “solar fence” solar access ordinance in the early 80’s. More recently, Steve pushed the idea of a city-wide “carbon tax” that was passed by the voters in 2006. Steve is a rock and mountain climber, an avid back country skier, and plays the piano for fun. |
