| Favorite music | classical: love Chopin - he lived close to my childhood home and I can always hear Masovia in his works. I also love baroque, mostly Bach and early Italian baroque: Vivaldi, yes, but also Pieri, Cochini, Cavaglieri... I like jazz, too. |
| Favorite books | "Pamietnik antybohatera" (Diaries of an anti-hero) - it is a book by a Polish writer (Kornel Filipowicz), but so un-Polish ( by design - a story of a guy who really, really did not want to be a hero - while being Polish and not being forced to contemplate - or resign yourself to being a hero was usually difficult) , it is both scary and funny... and very, very thought provoking. |
