Introduction	I am happily married and have a precious baby boy born in August 2009. Currently, I love being a stay at home mom! Prior to June 2009, I directed the ESL program at a large high school in Charlotte. I hold a graduate degree in TESL, and have traveled extensively.
Interests	I enjoy reading, movies, embroidery, hiking, yoga, long walks, cooking, decorating, and thinking about gardening while never doing it. Professional interests include the connection between acculturation and language acquisition, and the needs of ESL students with limited formal education.
Favorite movies	The Holiday, Monsoon Wedding, Mr. Hulot's Holiday, Love Actually, Clueless, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, most Doris Day movies, most Bond movies, most Audrey Hepburn movies, Ann of Green Gables
Favorite music	Nearly everything except country, R&B, heavy metal, and anything really trashy.
Favorite books	Where to begin? Here's a random sample: Anna Karenina, Jane Eyre,anything by Alexander McCall Smith, the Narnia series, the complete works of Conan Doyle, the entire Ann of Green Gables series, Twilight (can't help it), Harry Potter (ditto), Eat, Pray, Love, Under the Tuscan Sun, Three Cups of Tea, anything by Bill Bryson, My Family and Other Animals
