Introduction	After a long happy career in education, I now spend my work days helping to run a series of drug and alcohol treatment facilities in New York. Retirement, I found out the hard way, is not for me. With any extra time I have I write. Articles that first appeared on the www.brainbetting.com website about poker and gambling are reproduced here in my "Cards, Dice, and Wheels of Fortune" blog. My writing has also appeared in Senior Living magazine and in email rejection letters from numerous fiction websites. I'm not giving up. Poker helps clear my mind. The only thing that does that better for me is wine.
