| Introduction | After 18 months of juggling my teaching career and caring for my first child, I found myself dealing with emotions many new working moms face. Though I loved my middle school students dearly, my heart was no longer in teaching--he was across town in daycare. We never doubted my son was receiving exceptional care from his teachers, but my husband and I felt that God had called me to be at home with our son. My transition from full-time English teacher to stay-at-home mommy has already proven to be a challenging, yet rewarding journey. This is our story. |
