Introduction	I think childbirth is both ordinary and miraculous... My name is Ronni McGarty and I am a professional birth doula, trained through DONA (Doulas of North America)in November 2006. As a mother, I have spent the past 32 years of my life devoted to the study and practice of natural childbirth, breastfeeding, nutrition and home health care, early childhood development, and life purpose counseling. Besides my training with DONA, I am also certified as a hypnodoula to support moms who have taken a hypnosis for childbirth class. I volunteer with Operation Special Delivery to provide free labor support for wives of deployed servicemen. I can attend births at all Charlotte area hospitals, and I especially love to help at home births!
