| Introduction | Having come to terms with my own mortality in the last couple of years, I have realized the need to leave behind a record of some personal and family history in addition to some temporal as well as secular wisdom (I hope). My God is in control and I won’t live a day more or a day less than He has determined from the beginning of time. The primary audience I imagine as I sit down to write are my grandchildren as they become mature enough to read and understand my messages. Indeed wouldn’t it be wonderful if future generations of our family passed this digital information package on to their children. As I started to write in July of 2009, I realized that others may want to read what I have to say as well. My blog “Take Up His Yoke” was born. I continue to hope what I write encourages believers and provides valuable Christian insights for the spiritually searching. |
