| Introduction | Hi! My name is Madeleine (Mads to most.) I was born with a rare bone growth disorder which results in short stature. I can walk short distances but mostly use my electric wheelchair. I'm studying a Bachelor of Applied Science in Disability Studies. I'm passionate about changing the world for people with a disability. I love horses, horse riding and dressage. I've been riding for the past 9 years with Riding for the Disabled. I ride a beautiful pony, Apache. He is very special to me. In between all of that I hope to share my life with anyone who wants to be apart of it. I hope to raise issues that affect people with a disability. I will achieve that by networking with others, by sharing personal experiences, what I read and see in the media. Thanks and I hope that you'll enjoy reading my blog too. |
