| Introduction | I'm a blessed wife and proud mother of four great kids. Tiffani, my firstborn, is 25 and graduated from George Mason University. Justin is 24 and is getting his Masters in International Development Eastern University in Pennsylvania. Justin married Maggie in January and we are thrilled that Maggie is now part of our family. Lila, our little princess with Down Syndrome, is 5 years old. She is a feisty, precocious little girl who loves to tease her family. Lila had many, many issues throughout my pregnancy and the doctors warned us that she probably wouldn't make it. Our determined little angel proved them wrong. We are currently in the process of adopting a little angel with Down Syndrome. She will be 1 in January. Her name is Lexi and she is the perfect addition to our family. So this is a story about our family. Our journey with Down Syndrome. And other fun things that happen along the way. |
