Introduction	Hi, I'm Kari. I live in Urbana, IL with my boyfriend and our 2 dogs. I have a knack for moving around every few years, and thus switching jobs quite frequently. I have a degree in Biology; worked in scientific labs for many years; became bored with it all and turned to my all time passion of food and wine. I am a supporter of trying to eat local and seasonal as much as possible, but there are times when it is hard, or I simply ignore the matter for some delicious Thai take out. Don’t we all? Through this blog, I hope to share my thoughts, concerns, recipes, and taste buds in regards to seasonal and sustainable foods, eating local, and finding great local proprietors in my area and maybe yours too!
