| Introduction | I am married to, well, my husband. His name is Jeff, I will refer to him as hubs.(I refuse to call him "King," his preferred handle.) I pretty much like him, until he tries to clean the house - then he thinks there should be a parade, and well, all he did was throw a piece of paper in the trash. I keep him around because he is a great source of support and the other half of my heart. So occasionally, I let him have his parade! Jace is my son. I am coming to know him affectionately as Stink-eye, he's 12, moving into teenagedom and has that look in his eye. You know the one, "Duh, mom." If you don't know the look you either are a teenager or haven't been the parent of one yet. Though I might be a little biased, he's a handsome bugger and brilliant to boot! I am employed full time outside of the home as a corporate trainer. I like what I do, but truly it's a means to an end. And in the end, I'm always seeming to make a mess. My favorite saying is "It is in the shelter of each other that we live." Want to come visit me in my shelter? It's messy in here, but we are gonna have fun figurin' out how to clean it up! |
