Introduction	i live in texas, in a small community populated by people who own chickens to annoy me. i'm a legal assistant (for money) and a photographer (for pleasure). i love books and chocolate and bubble baths and music and wine. i especially love all of those things together. i'm attempting to ease as gracefully as possible into middle age. just within the past couple of years, i've stopped wondering when my real life will begin. it began 44 years ago and i'm just now figuring that out.
