| Introduction | I'm just your every day, average, wandering, almost-no-longer-teenager trying to find her way in life. I've lived in Manhattan, Queens, The J train and Brooklyn, worked in the Bronx daily, was dragged to Georgia in handcuffs against my will, bribed to Kent with ice cream, and crash landed on the doorstep of a grey-blue house in Norwalk. I have fallen in love with every bit of New York City atleast once, and hated every bit of it too. In fact, i think i've loved every place i've been, to a certain extent; no matter how hard the conditions were, how awful the times seemed or how much i wished i was someplace else. every place ive been and every person ive met on my adventures in finding a place called home have become an irreplacable one-of-a-kind part of me, and for that i love them all regardless. My pet mouse is my best friend here in connecticut now. Sometimes i talk to my boats. i gave my heart away to the ocean the night i turned 16. If you ever lose me, go to the nearest swing set. | Favorite Books | The best books are the ones you can lose yourself in completely. The ones that capture your mind and heart until you forget where you are and the entire world becomes the saftey of the black printed words on crisp white paper. Then when you are finally forced to look up from those speckled white pages you feel like you were just slapped in the face because you suddenly remember where you are and that its just a stupid paper book afterall. |
