I hope that through this blog I will be able to help spread awareness for invisible illness, and hopefully make you laugh and smile as I do so :). People with chronic illness aren't crazy or lazy, They are normal people just like you :)
Interests Writing- anything from blog post to poetry and song lyrics, Singing, anything to do with animals, Basically Anything Arts related, I love going to dances, hanging with friends, trying new things, In all honesty I LOVE life, and I plan to be living and loving it for a VERY long time :)
Favorite Movies The Fault in Our Stars, Calamity Jane, Sons of Provo, Stephen Kings " Misery", Funny girl, Silence of the lambs
Favorite Music I love any song that has a deep story to it :) I think true music is when an artist leaves a Piece of them self with the music and lyrics and decides to share it with the world.., My absolute FAVORITE song at the moment is " Fight Song" by Rachel Platten. I kid you not every time I'm stressed out about something medical that song comes on the radio, and the lyrics remind me that I need to stay strong and keep on fighting. I can't tell you how many times I've said those lyrics in my head as I've sat scared out of my mind in the ER, during hospital visits, or during medical test and procedures., I also LOVE Taylor Swift! She does this amazing thing with her music where she can tell the story she wants to tell, and makes you want to get up and dance, all at the same time. I'm often told by friend and complete strangers that I look like her.. Which I think is a HUGE compliment. She is gorgeous !
Favorite Books The Fault in Our Stars I have probably read this book about 8 times. In this book John Greene perfectly captured what it's like to be a chronically ill teenager! This book changed my life! It made me feel not so alone Non fiction: The Book Of Mormon This book changed my life!!! :) it grew my testimony and brought me so much closer to God! I know that it along with the bible are the words of God
