| Introduction | I was born in South Africa, but now live in Auckland, New Zealand. I have a full time job in healthcare, working as an administrator. I do the occasional bit of home sewing and some crochet from time to time, but knitting is my favourite craft,so I always have a project or two on my needles. The third bedroom in the house I used to live in was my craft room ; it was the place I could retreat to in the evenings and listen to an audiobook while knitting. I downsized and relocated last year after my husband passed away and am now living in a little one bedroom unit, so I no longer have a craft room, but instead I have a craft corner in my bedroom and also keep knitting bags full of projects in the lounge, where I like to knit while I watch Netflix or knitting podcasts. I love reading and listening to audiobooks, listening to music and watching movies. |
