Introduction	I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, (and actually a great-grandmother now) and enjoy time with my family more than anything else. I work as a registered nurse in home care, and more importantly a wellness advocate. I teach and mentor people to take charge of their own healthcare needs, with help from professionals as needed.
Interests	Family, Alternative Healthcare, Humanitarian relief, Scuba Diving, Music, Animals, Self-sufficiency & preparedness,
Favorite movies	Varied genres and styles. I love good movies, but especially any that make me think or change my perspective about life and living. Some of my favorites are: The Doctor, Awakenings, Tuesdays with Morrie, Contact, Shine, I Am Sam, Nell, Gattica, and lots of others, as well as good old adventures and sagas such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Anne of Green Gables.
Favorite music	I also like all kinds of music from traditional folk and jazz to classical. About the only kinds of music I don't enjoy listening to are heavy metal and rap.
Favorite books	I love books. One of my favorite relaxing leisure activities to do is to spend HOURS in a bookstore and just browse everything. I can easily spend an entire day there if I had the time. I particularly like histories and fantasies but also enjoy suspense, adventures, classics, medical, philosophical, scientific, pretty much anything that isn't boring!
