IntroductionMy name is Amy Queen and I'm a work in progress just like this page! A Montana native, I spent nearly thirteen years living, loving, and working in Missoula, MT. My husband's passionate pursuit of chemistry has taken us to the lovely town of Bozeman, MT as he works towards a PhD in Physical Chemistry. Together we are raising our precocious, active and charming son, Abraham Earl and our surprise twins Loretta Maria and Kearney Cumberland. My three-ring circus keeps me hopping but I wouldn't have it any other way . . . ok, maybe I wouldn't mind a little more sleep. Before the birth of my oldest, I served as the Assistant Administrator of a non-profit independent living retirement center. Whew! That's a mouthful! I dream of getting my blog off the ground, becoming a post-partum doula and eventually a birth doula once my brood is a little more self-sufficient. All in good time . . .
Interests”Sufficient unto the day is one baby. As long as you are in your right mind don’t you ever pray for twins. Twins amount to a permanent riot. And there ain’t any real difference between triplets and an insurrection.” – Mark Twain It is a curious commentary on our society that we tolerate all degrees of explicitness in our literature and mass media as regards sex and violence, but the normal act of breastfeeding is taboo. - American Academy of Pediatrics "Life is too important to be taken seriously." Oscar Wilde
