| Introduction | Dr Hume Johnson is a Communications Consultant, Broadcast Journalist & University Professor. She has 15 years of professional experience in television & radio broadcasting, public relations and strategic political communication. Hume is an expert communications trainer with global experience in Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica and the United States. Hume served as a Specialist newscaster at Radio Jamaica,FAME FM and the Jamaica Information Service. She has also been actively engaged in the Jamaican public sector as a Speechwriter in the Ministry of National Security; researcher/writer; communications consultant with high level members of the Jamaican Government and communications advisor with political parties. Dr Johnson was also youth advisor on the Prime Minister,s Advisory Council (Most. Hon. P.J. Patterson). Hume holds a PhD in Political Science & Public Policy, Masters of Science in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications.
