| Introduction | Gail Booth, Okie and grandmother extraordinaire! I love to move paint. I love to attempt to capture movement on the canvas. I love to pit colors against each other that cause the canvas to vibrate. I love to leave soft edges that create a sense of mystery and compel the viewer to finish the story in their own imagination. I love to design with as much passion as possible. I love being able to do something on canvas I wasn't able to do the day before. I love the discovery process. I'm too old to care if I can compete with others or stand up to someone else's scrutiny. I want to lift people's spirit and remind them of the beauty that surrounds us.
