| Introduction | After graduating from Undergraduate School last May, I have been traveling to various locations and working, while expanding my knowledge of food and agriculture. I worked and lived in Portland Maine as a Field Canvasser working towards Universal Single Payer Health Care. It was working in Maine with a political organization that opened my eyes to the importance of being politically involved. After Maine, I moved home with the parents to apply to graduate school. After only applying to two schools, I took off for Costa Rica to travel, learn Spanish, and study the agriculture of a major contributor to global produce. I will be contributing to this global effort of fair and sustainable food through my blog, here on Google blogger. I plan on getting more involved in food activism, after a summer of working hands-on, on farms in New York State. |
