| Introduction | Having graduated with First Class Honours in Law, I have completed the first part in a long journey towards pursuing a career as a solicitor. Since taking up law at sixth-form, I have developed a high interest in the legal profession, which has fuelled my enthusiasm. I have always been fascinated with the profound effect on which politics has had on legislation, particularly in the area of finance, which lately has become much more topical due to the changes in the attitudes of society because of the recent banking crisis. I am currently taking a short break from my studies to teach English to children in Thailand for six months; in the hope that I will be able to learn and develop new skills, some of which I will be able to bring back with me. This, I hope, will bring many advantages; both for myself, and for potential employers in the form of having experienced many different experiences from different cultures. |
