| Introduction | If we take a look to the Middle East and North Africa, probably one or our first impressions is the lack of political stability and national consolidation, the clan rifts and religion-inspired confrontations. May be the situation can be defined as quite chaotic, and therefore the name chosen for the blog, fauda, an Arab word for chaos. Of course we have no solution for these problems, but at least we can try to have an approach as informed as possible to the situation and dynamics of the region. We have no confidential sources nor any linguistic special capabilities, only our curiosity, good will, and desire and hope for advancement and peace.
