| Introduction | enjoy the outdoors, and helping the wildlife when necessary. Instrumental in Grey Seal Movement in Wales to pass laws that protect them when they give birth for the 3 weeks a year that they do, and maintaining and securing the safety of these mammals while this happens. Laws were passed by the Welsh Govt by the work of our organization and others to protect the marine life during this time, and everyone, tourists and locals have given the grey seals the privacy and respect they need during their birthing period. It turned out to be a win win situation for all. Tourism grows to watch the pups from a distance, more poeple means more business for the local pubs and eatery's great experience and something I would do again to protect those babies from harm. |
