| Introduction | I began writing serialized Austen fiction in the days when the Internet was young. To keep readers interested, I developed what has become my signature style: rapid pace, intertwined plots, cliffhangers, and laugh-out-loud humor. The comedy I come by naturally in my job as a seventh grade teacher. There's never a dull moment at school!
That's also true in my Austen Regency novels. They're anything but the usual "stop, drop, and roll" bodice ripper! I think of them as a delightful escape--dare I say mind candy? --for the thinking reader. My heroine? The girl everybody loves to hate, top-lofty, always opinionated Elizabeth Elliot! She reminds me...of me! |
| Interests | Writing, gardening, having coffee with friends. And most recently, agreeing to participate in NaNoWriMo! I know. I'm nuts. |
