Introduction I am a professional philosopher whose academic specialty is the history of early modern philosophy. I am an expert in online education, an active researcher, and an award-winning educator with significant expertise in faculty self-governance, institutional and program accreditation, academic policy, continuous quality improvement, strategic planning, faculty development, and the assessment of student learning. I have served in numerous faculty leadership roles. I perform accreditation work for the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and have served on the board of directors of the American Association of Philosophy Teachers.
