Introduction	Undergoing a major life change by moving away from home, Vancouver, B.C, to Japan, I felt a need to keep a transcript of my musings as I plunge myself into a completely unique and different culture. By leaving everything I have known - my family, friends, my entire life - I realize that as overwhelming and as terrifying as it may be, that these feelings are also indicative of a very exciting and propitious future. By expanding my horizons and thrusting myself out of comfort, lessons and new opportunities will be plentiful and easy to come by. I, in essence, will be left with no choice but to explore, grow, and develop. This blog is the story of teaching in a country that will most probably teach me more in return.
