| Introduction | What does "gospel colored glasses" mean? Gospel means good news. You know the saying "Do you want the good news or the bad news first?" Well, my friend, the gospel is good, GOOD news. The bad news is we have sinned and are broken and deserve judgement.... the good news is, Jesus is the answer, and took what we deserve- death. But when He died on the cross in our place, He rose again on the third day! So as a born-again believer ~ a Christ follower ~ I try to seek Him daily in every circumstance ~ to see the world through "gospel colored glasses". Asking Him to guide my naturally selfish and sinful heart so that He would be glorified. Sometimes I get it right, and sometimes I get it wrong; but His grace never runs out, and His love never ends. The goal of this page is to bring glory to Him while dealing with daily chronic headaches and migraines. It's not the road I picked, but it's the road I'm on. So I want to honor Him while on it. | Interests | I love Jesus. I love kids. I have 2 sons. Our oldest was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a life threatening birth defect- but you'd never know it now. Although he had a rough start and only has 1/2 a right lung and 80% of the left, he is a creative and joyful tween and is a friend to everyone. Our youngest is a dare devil and loves to "tinker." He hasn't stopped since he started walking at 9 months old. I have had chronic daily headaches and migraine for 29 years. I have tried countless things to treat them to no avail- but through the grace of God and the gospel glasses He has allowed me to view my circumstances with, He has given me so much to be thankful for- despite daily physical pain. |
