| Introduction | Joy McDonald is a Brisbane-based artist. Joy has been painting and drawing for many years and has studied Visual Arts at Southbank TAFE and Ithaca TAFE. Joy has previously studied art with the Open College of the Arts, Nepean TAFE,and Kerry Johns studio; and has attended painting, drawing and printmaking workshops given by artists including Wendy Sharpe, Peter Griffin, Tim Allen, David Beschi, Seraphina Martin, Adele Outteridge, Robert Andrews, John Ellison, Jenny Watson. Before moving to Brisbane in 2007, Joy lived in the Blue Mountains and was an active member of the Blackheath Art Society. Joy has a B.A. from University of Sydney. |
