| Introduction | I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated in 1978 with a BA in chemistry and biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and then went on to attain a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I now work as a research chemist in the paper industry in the midwest and live with my beautiful wife and step-daughter. |
