| Introduction | I am a retired college professor and a Quaker peace activist. I currently serve as the clerk of the Crossville Friends Meeting and am on the steering committee of Cumberland Countians for Peace and Justice. I was the Quaker delegate on a peace mission to Israel and Palestine in 2005. In 2002, I was arrested for leading a sit-in at Sen. Zell Miller's office in protest of his support for war on Iraq. |
