| Introduction | At the age of 75, I feel like a time traveler. I can remember traveling by horse and wagon and by Model T and now I fly in jets. I went from a saved and baptized Baptist to a Presbyterian, to a Unitarian. I grew from the southern culture into which I was born into the conciousness expanding era of the 1970s. Betty Freidan's "The Feminine Mystique" sparked my mind and sent me off to college as an adult. I have been married to the same man for 55 years, we have raised 3 children to successful adulthood and are grandparents to 7 amazing grandchildren. |
