Introduction	I am a journalist who has called New York City home for the last 10 years. My work has appeared in Essence magazine, People, The News Journal, and Black Enterprise. I currently work at AOL Black Voices, where I edit news, blog posts, and reviews. I've also spent time editing for Knight Ridder, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Martha Stewart Living. I'm an ovarian cancer survivor interested in women's health issues, a lover of good music, and an amateur photographer (very amateur).
