| Introduction | First, my apologies... for morphing from an idealistic, bright-eyed, adorable young fellow into a recalcitrant hippy curmudgeon, whose principal preoccupation, aside from breathing, is attempting to convince others of the value of plants. I am not the ideal son; and yet I am on good terms with my aging parents. As a college drop-out who has challenged the dominant paradigm, mostly by ignoring it whenever possible, I should probably be considered a lazy anal passive-aggressive bad-dressing nincompoop with unruly hair. In return I am nonplussed... discontented w/ the machinations of my culture... and look forward to a day beyond the consumer madness, preoccupation with wealth extraction to the exclusion of self-knowledge and creative/artistic pursuits for the sake of All. I have travelled very little, have no fluency in other languages, but am not an isolationist. I sing, make music, chop wood and carry water. Children seem to like me at first meeting; andmy own continue to maintain amicable relations. I take pictures. I wonder. I do Not live up to my ideals (and wonder why one bothers to conceive such things). I am left-handed... mostly. ^..^ |
