| Introduction | A lifelong resident of the Carolinas, I have been incredibly blessed. A 1969 & 1973 graduate of WCU, I taught elementary school in both North and South Carolina. I have 2 wonderful daughters and 3 incredible grandchildren. Now retired, I am very active in my church and the United Methodist Women. Along this journey, I have gone from the brink of disaster to the Promised Land and I give God all the glory. From financial despair through a crumbling marriage to nearly dying of congestive heart failure, and then losing my dear mother and mother-in-law in less than 10 months, the one constant in my life has been the presence of God. He is my strength and my song(II Sam. 22:33). My journey to the Promised Land has equipped me with a unique perspective of the reality of God in this present age and I wish to share that with others. |
