| Introduction | As the self-appointed Queen of the Testosterone Empire, I reign over a small kingdom of males, including my husband and 3 handsome sons Tristan, Jordan and Kadan. For my day job, I'm a reference and instruction librarian, which means that I teach people how to find and use information. It doesn't sound that glamorous, but my alter-ego is a Broadway-singing diva, so I think it makes for a somewhat interesting combo. Other stuff...I'm a perfectionist and a bit melodramatic, but in an endearing way. I hope ;) |

Otherwise I like hanging out with my family, shopping, the beach, travel, photography, playing the piano and performing in or attending the theatre. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite movie of all times is Dangerous Liaisons...other favorites include The Sound of Music, Moulin Rouge, The Notebook, Legends of the Fall, Hair, Grease, Dirty Dancing (nobody puts Baby in the corner), The Breakfast Club, Gone With the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Princess Bride, Hoosiers (I am from Indiana) and the list goes on... |

| Favorite books | The Secret Garden, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Walk Two Moons, The Lady and the Unicorn, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. The last three books I read were The Time Traveler's Wife, Into the Wild, and Love in the Time of Cholera. |
