| Introduction | When I was born, my older sister received a stuffed aardvark as a congratulations gift. She named the Aardvark "Erin" and in return insisted that I be named "Aardvark." My parents humored her and agreed to it as a nickname. It stuck, so much so that as I grew up, I introduced myself as "Erin Nicole Aardvark Howard." (which, for some reason that eluded me, was always followed by laughter...) Hence the name of my blog. As the old saying goes, "You can take the girl out of the aardvark, but you can't take the aardvark out of the girl!" You will notice that when one is part aardvark, it gives them a unique, sometimes quirky perspective on life.
