| Introduction | When I was 13 my father raped me setting off 5 years of both sexual and physical abuse until I ran away from home. During the next 25 years I went from one abuser to another and yet managed to raise 4 amazing children who are the greatest joy I've ever known. After completing 5 years of a recovery program I devised and later put into book form I emerged the happiest person I know. I'm outgoing, fun loving, good sense of humor, affectionate, a smart aleck, curious, love the United Kingdom, was married in 2000 to another McKinnon I met on a geneology web site. We were married at Melrose Abbey in Melrose, Scotland. |
