Introduction	My name is Sharlynn Bridges, designer and owner of Ashar Gems. Ashar (Asher) is an ancient Aramaic-Hebrew word and name (spelled phonetically as aw-shar') meaning "call her blessed, prosperous, fortunate". It is quite gratifying to do and share the things that I love. I currently reside in Olympia, WA., where I scour the beaches of Tolmie State Park and the beautiful woodlands for inspiration. I have four near-worthless college degrees and now seek solice in jewelry design. It is too bad that I spent so much time in pursuit of knowledge; I could have been scouring the globe for beautiful gems.
