| Introduction | As collaborating artists(Gloria Louka and Nancy Castrogiovanni) at an experimentation stage we felt the urge of trying new kinds of art. Media that we haven't used before.That's exactly what we did. Performance as an idea was something that we could never imagine ourselves doing, but yet we did it.Along with performance we used video, as well as video editing.As Mediterraneans sculpture has always been our main interest. Due to that was tried to "marry" them in a few of our video- performances. photography became part of our work as well. It is indeed a very charming media and it can do miracles from different points of view.Throughout this semester we have to admit that we've learned more than we expected. At first we were kind of scared to step out of our comfort zone. Afterwards we took the big jump and started swimming in the deep sea.Something we would have to do sooner or later. We as glad that we have a wider knowledge and experience on art media and techniques such as painting, sculpture, video, performances |
