| Introduction | Just who is Laura Berlin? Well, that’s a good question. As soon as I can figure it out I’ll let you know, in the meantime what I do will have to suffice. I’m an as yet unpublished author with a couple of YA’s written in rough and in desperate need of revision. As a late bloomer, I’ve just recently graduated from college and am working on shifting my muse from academic writing back to my first love which is fiction. I have a totally awesome day job at a wonderful non-profit organization where I get to be an Equitherapy instructor as well as use my recent education to help the organization grow. I live on the ranch I work at with my nine year old daughter, two rats, a guinea pig, three cats, four dogs, and a cockatiel. The horses don’t live at the house with us, but that’s okay, they’re just a short walk across the pasture and I don’t have to clean stalls any more. |
| Interests | Horses, music, writing, horses, learning, my girls, music, art, learning, horses, animals in general, learning, making a positive difference in the World we live in. |
| Favorite movies | Good ones. Right now my favorite would have to be... I'll get back to you on that one. |
| Favorite music | Most anything live. I love classical music, but live only. My i-pod is full of classics of most any genre. |
| Favorite books | Currently frustrated with George Martin's Game of Thrones series I'm impatiently waiting the next installment, a good trashy romance novelette, textbooks and I've fallen in love with the essays of Michel de Montaigne, Joseph Conrad, Jonathan Swift, Shakespeare, Classics in general. |
That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
And why not?
