| Introduction | Universal Vedanta is a school of Neo Non-Dualism (Nava Advaita Vedanta), a school of thought based on Vedanta started by Rishyashish. Universal Vedanta movement was started by Rishyashish to reveal the true knowledge of universal truth written in the scriptures of Vedanta. Our mantra is "One Life, One Truth, One Goal". Vedanta philosophy is the foundation of Indian Philosophy and Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism. Even other religions were indirectly influenced. Western philosophers and scientists were attracted to Upanishads. Adi Shankaracharya's Advaita Vedanta or Non-dualism, Ramanuja's Vishistadvaita or Qualified non-dualism, Madhavacharya's Dvaita or Dualism, Shri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda's Neo Vedanta are prominent school of thoughts. Along with Upanishads, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Brahma Sutras, Ashtavakra Gita are the heart of Vedanta Philosophy. |
