I work primarily with pastels and acrylics, creating portraits of animals and other subjects. Unlike the traditional portrait artist, I use lots of colors found in nature. I like to capture the feeling/emotion of the pet. The actual painting is between realism and expressionism. I catch a likeness, yet add lots of color and expression.
