| Introduction | I am a wife, a mother of two, a christian, a Texan, a good friend, a travel enthusiast, a sports fan, and a fighter, but I am NOT a victim of cancer. I was diagnosed with stage III mestatic melanoma in March 2007. I have no primary source (no mole/freckle). My cancer was found in my left axilla lymph nodes (arm pit). I have undergone 3 surgeries and 4 rounds of high-dose IL-2 (interleukin). After months of highs and lows, vacations in ICU, chemical chemo-peels, and tons of prayer, I can proudly say that as of June 2008 I have NO "active cancer" in me at this time. I am very blessed and have prayed all throughout this journey for God to allow me to be a LIVING testimony, and it is such an awesome feeling to be on the "front row" and see prayers answered and know that you are being used for HIS glory.
