| Introduction | This organization was formed in 1998 as the UW School of Pharmacy’s own professional pharmacy student organization. UPPOW is directly affiliated with the following state and national professional pharmacy associations: APhA- American Pharmacists Association ASHP- American Society of Health-System Pharmacists NCPA- National Community Pharmacist’s Association WSPA-Washington State Pharmacy Association These organizations represent all areas of pharmacy practice and influence national and state policies that concern our profession. By combining all of the above organizations into UPPOW, we strengthen our profession into a more powerful voice.
