About me

Gender Female
Location Connecticut
Introduction I was married in 2000. A year later, our first miscarriage at 30. We finally learned not to keep announcing our pregnancies to the world. I hate surgery, do not trust anyone, the blog world did not exist. Husband, a happy, accepting, daily communicant, me a stoic and expecting that things do not work out person. Then my best friends said, STOP. You can do treatments that will not go against the Church. I became a crazed infertile visiting dozens of doctors. Some were spot on, some were evil. My breakthrough: finding out about my serious thyroid condition. I have autoimmune related recurrent pregnancy loss. A found a used book with Dr. Beer's name in it. At 38, under the watchful care of Dr. Kwak-Kim, baby Ann, born the Eve of the Feast of St. Ann was born. After 10 years of IF, I have learned not so much to never give up, but to fight. It is okay to be stinkin' mad about IF. The culture of death has prevented doctors from studying and caring for women whose children are vulnerable and in need of medical intervention early on after conception. This is a pro-life fight, it is not simply a personal desire for parenthood.
Interests Working on my patience, developing and nurturing friendships in Christ.
Favorite Books I am dying to read a book. I haven't been able to get to the library lately!

Favorite Pet...my Jersey Wooly rabbit, Smokey.
