Introduction	The term 'theologian' refers to someone who reflects upon the nature of God and religious truth. But there are many different types of theologians in the world; Systematic theologians, Biblical theologians and many more. By defining myself as a pastoral theologian, I simply mean that my study of God has it's focus on pastoral implications. Simply put - how does this change me or affect me in my life now. Does this bring me peace and assurance or does it bring turmoil and angst? Pastoral theology is 'where the rubber hits the road' theology, for if our theological musings do not positively impact our lives, we are merely playing word games and wasting a whole bunch of time.
