Introduction	My name is Oscar and I'm 8 years old. My favourite colour is green and I love my Teddy. I have a little sister named Lauryn and a dog named Happy. I like to play chess and games on my DS. I'm going into Grade 3 in September. My mom suggested I start this blog to let people know about the shark finning industry. She helps me but only by typing what I say. I hope you care, too. Be the change you want to see in the world - Ghandi One day, my family and I went for dim sum. I was looking at the menu and I saw that there was shark fin dumplings. I didn't want to go there any more because in school we learned how the sharks were fished. First they catch the shark. Then the fishers cut off the sharks fins. Last they throw the shark back or they keep the shark on the boat to suffer. It makes me feel bad. I told my family that going for dim sum, even if we don't buy the shark fin duplings, its still giving them (shark-fin industry) money to keep doing what they're doing. Sharks aren't scary. They're just different. This summer, my goal is to post one new shark fact a day and show you why YOU should care, too.
